Phantom sighs crossing his arms. "I understand your point Robin but that's life. People come and go and never come back its the risk we all take waking up the next morning and being killed. Its normal to morn lost but you gotta learn that its life's natural cycle. I would like to live in a world where no one precious had to leave my side....the feeling of my heart being ripped out when the fact sets in that I will never see them again..." He closes his eyes "But I still have one thing that will keep me going when ever I get sad...memories.... Yes memories are bad sometimes they make it worst but I know they will never leave so in turn its like that person never left because they are in my heart and mind." "I understand... Two claps rang out amidst the graveyard. The sound of Sullivan's hands coming together seemed to make enough noise to wake the dead. He grinned as he looked about the air around him, as though searching for something or someone. "'Ey, old man. I know you're around, right? Watching as always." He let out a laugh as he turned himself around, facing the exit of the graveyard, to watch for people who might show. "Seems there's still life left around, eh? They just don't stay down. No matter what happens.." He paused as he frowned at the ground.
Sullivan gave a shrug and continued on, seeming to talk to himself. "I'm sure you knew that they'd be like this, though. After all, you were the one who spent your time with them." He laughed again, a sad kind of laugh, as though he was upset about something. "But you're gone now, eh? Not that any of them mind, I'm sure. But I'm just telling you what you know, I guess." He sighed as he continued to stare at the entrance. He seemed to be working over a great burden in his mind, not sure how best to approach what he wanted to say.
"I guess," Sullivan began, a new tone of confidence in his voice. "that your dream won't become a reality anymore. Times are changing, but the people never seem to change. But that's just how we humans are." He laughed again, that same sorrowful laugh. His eyes narrowed as he started to walk forward. "See you another time, old man. This vagabond can't stop quite yet." He grinned as he approached the entrance.
Before long, we'll be seeing each other more than you want. Sullivan thought to himself. Your power will be mind, God. Sullivan clapped his hands two times again as he exited the graveyard. He then placed both of his hands on the ground. "Indignari." A bolt of lightning struck down from the Heavens, enveloping Sullivan's body. A bright flash of light was released and, when it faded, Sullivan was gone. |
